Balestrate was very nice, typical and historic Sicilian town. The beaches were also very nice.
Sicily, I enjoyed. France, Spain and Italy are my favourite Med countries. I now add Sicily to this list.

April 2009 Individual"I have just got back home after an unforgettable experience in Balestrate, the gulf in Sicily. Enjoyed overall the family atmosphere. Mr. T. was very kind and helpful. The house was clean and well-appointed, conveniently located near the beach. Astonishing views and perfect setting for a relaxing but still lively sojourn in this wonderful land. September 2009 FamilyLast week at your house was fantastic, above all, the hospitality, warmth of your mother Maria-Christina is something we will not forget. Our daughter also enjoyed herself a lot. I will thoroughly recommend your property to anyone in the future. House very good, had all amenities, large rooms and very well equipped kitchen with lots of plates, microwave etc. House also conveniently located near town square and supermarket , train station serving main line from Palermo. Hospitality, well to be honest, I think it is only possible this type in the meditteranean( northern europe, impossible).
We found your house very quiet, very convenient for public transport or if anyone wants to hire a car we got a good deal from "sim sala bim"..you can also mention that there are beautiful beaches 15 minutes away in castellmare del golfo.
Also Sicily has a lot to offer in terms of centuries of history e.g. Argigento, Siracusa( which unfortunately we could not go to), Palermo a very interesting capital and the beauty of the countryside, to the incredible medieval towns like Erice, places of interest Segesta etc.. September 2009 FriendsWe had a great time in Balestrate, accommodation was very nice and the people very friendly. Enjoyed the beautiful beaches and the great restaurants during our week. All in all we had a great time and would recommend to our friends.

September 2009 FriendsWe spent great holidays in Sicily this September!!! Balestrate is very sunny coastal town with amazing beaches and mild climate. The stylish cosy flat we rented gave us a good chance to face typical Sicillian way of life. Our best regards to Mariangella Musso for hospitality!!!
Sicily took us away for pleasuring relaxed rest - evenings with other guests at "Jafar's cafe", delicious Sicicilian cuisine, swimming at the warmest sea, night walks, nature...here is Dolce Vita!
