Hi! What can we say! An amasing trip, great weather, food was excellent ( pastas with sarde yummy, fish , dessert...). People are really welcoming and polite... If you hesitate do go there, then dont! Perfect place to go for a family, couple or friends! Enjoy realxing time!

Bella Balestrate! Our family stayed in nice historic Townhouse near the sea. Interior – “original”. Owner was very welcoming. It is about 1.30 hours drive by train to Palermo and almost the same time you will spend to get to Trapani. I would advice to rent a car from local Tourist office as it will give you more flexibility as you won`t need to relay on the public transport schedules. Definitely try out Pasticceria shops – very tasty cakes. Probably the best time to go there would be the summer, so you could enjoy beach.

Balestrate village is a really nice place, and the citizen are very friendly. The appartment is near everywhere, is very clean, good equiptment. At night is not very noisy. The owners are brillant, and worried about the state of everything in the appartment for your welfare

Apartment is really marvelous, all is confortable, perfect and clean; you find here everything,what you need.Owners are very kind and they were very warm and friendly all the time.Mostly donna Marie Christine was very pleasant, worried;she is charmer indeed!House is close to the long sandy beach and to the train station too.This was the most beautifull week in Sicily and I hope we return in Balestrate sometimes...Mirka

What more can I say about staying in Balestrate, Sicily then to stay it was magical. You live nice apartment (suitable for number of people) with all the necessities required just walking distance to the beach. There is a sandy beach 5 minutes walk as well as a pebble beach 5 minutes walk also. A supermarket is 2 blocks away as well as a train station walking distance. It is away from the usual touristy places, but if you want a nice relaxing time to get away from it all, then this is the place. The owners are the nicest people and made you feel very welcome. they show you where everything is and treat you like you were one of your own. if you want a place thats only 30 minutes from Palermo but feels like a million miles away then i urge you to book here. i cant say enough about it." - Gavin
