What more can I say about staying in Balestrate, Sicily then to stay it was magical. You live nice apartment (suitable for number of people) with all the necessities required just walking distance to the beach. There is a sandy beach 5 minutes walk as well as a pebble beach 5 minutes walk also. A supermarket is 2 blocks away as well as a train station walking distance. It is away from the usual touristy places, but if you want a nice relaxing time to get away from it all, then this is the place. The owners are the nicest people and made you feel very welcome. they show you where everything is and treat you like you were one of your own. if you want a place thats only 30 minutes from Palermo but feels like a million miles away then i urge you to book here. i cant say enough about it." - Gavin

It was an amazing and fantastic stay in Piero’s apartment while the week in Sicily. This beautiful apartment is prefect for both couples to large families, given that it was clean and relaxes. Located in the heart of this beautiful small town, Balestrate, a short drive from Palermo and a few steps to the beach. It did not only provide us with convenience to travel around different towns in Sicily, but also a quite and romantic environment. The wonderful owners gave us a very warm welcome as well as some very useful information of the must visit signs and a few interesting places for good foods. Must also thanks for the delicious Sicilian Cuscus prepared by Piero’s mamma on our first night arrived knowing we had no dinner, it was just so sweet and the best cuscus we have eaten ever. Highly recommend to anyone who is interested for accommodation with real human touch. My wife and I will definitely look for Piero again, for our next visit to Sicily.

L'appartemento è in ottima posizione , centrale, facilmente raggiungibile anche dalla stazione ferroviaria (in mezz'ora di treno si raggiunge sia Trapani che Palermo). Inoltre ci sono nelle vicinanze anche un supermercato, due farmacie, un panettiere, due banche ed eventualmente per tirar tardi un bellissimo PUB proprio sotto casa (insomma c'è tutto quello di cui si può aver bisogno!). L'ospitalità della padrona di casa è da 10 e lode. Una persona squisita che saprà consigliarvi sui posti da visitare, nonchè una cuoca eccellente che vi potrà guidare in un viaggio attraverso i sapori della cucina siciliana. Noi siamo stati a Novembre un mese splendido per visitare la sicilia con tranquillità. Un viaggio indimenticabile grazie anche all'ospitalità della padrona di casa. Consigliato a tutti coloro che vogliono godersi una vera vacanza siciliana! Fabio
