Booking Policy of Case del Golfo

1. Payment

In the first instance please contact us to check on availability. Once we have confirmed the property is available and holding for you we will send you the written confirmation and payment possibility. To confirm a booking a deposit is required within 2 days of confirmation of availability to secure the property. The deposit covers our services and booking fee, such as administration costs and international bank transfers, as well as prepayment for the accommodation and the other charges related to the property such as utilities, towels and linen ( excl:  final cleaning and air conditioning). On receipt of the deposit and fill in the registration form on our web site, we will send you a booking confirmation via E-mail, which establishes our contract with you. You will be required to pay the balance directly upon arrival. If you fail to pay the deposit when due, we will treat your booking as not confirmed. Further availability and price change could be possible. For cancellation policy please see paragraph 4.

2. Payment Methods

Case del Golfo provides you the bank details or a link to pay on-line by credit card (via PayPal with additional bank commission of 5% of the payment).

3. Prices

All prices given are in EURO (€) and payment are to be in  €. The rental price is for all stay unless otherwise stated.

4. Cancellation and fees

Cancellations must be made in writing from the person who signed the rental agreement (how confirmed the reservation via e-mail) and will take effect the day such modification is received.

The reservation may be cancelled 8 weeks prior to arrival and the deposit will be valid 12 month for the further booking. In case of late cancellation less than 8 weeks, 10% of the total payment will be kept as the cancelation fee, the rest of deposit will be valid 12 month for the further booking.

5. Case del Golfo cancellation

In the unlikely event such as damages or any unexpected breakdowns in the house we have to cancel your booking. We will offer alternatives of similar standard without any extra charge to you. We would need your written confirmation of agreement within 24 hours. If our alternatives are not suitable to you, we will refund the deposit paid by you.

6. Responsibility

The descriptions in our web-site have been prepared in good faith. However we do not own or control any of the accommodation or any other facility within the accommodation, so we cannot accept any liability in respect of injury, loss or damage however caused, unless it is by act or omission of our company employees. Any valuable are left at your own risk. Our liability for affiliate to provide the service promised is limited to the value of the booking in all cases. Case del Golfo accepts no liability for events caused as a result of acts of God, Governments, hostilities of war, political unrest, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, theft, epidemies quarantine, medical or customs regulations, technical or administrative problems with transport, closure of airports, breakdowns with machines and equipment, adverse weather conditions, water shortages or any other circumstances outside of our control and could not have been avoided even with all due care. We are unable to accept any liability for any delay, transportation to and from your accommodation. In such circumstances you may be able to make a claim under your insurance policy.

7. Complaints

In the unlikely event that a client has any problems during their stay, the client must report it immediately to the property owner or responsible person who was introduced upon arrival. If a satisfactory solution is not reached please contact Case del Golfo in Italy during your stay, and we shall attempt to resolve the matter immediately.


If you remain dissatisfied you must write to us within 5 days from the end of your holiday. A failure to notify us during the holiday may mean that we will be unable to resolve the dispute after you return home.

8. Arrival and departure

Check-in time after 14:00 hours, Check-out time before 11:00 hours. Early Check-in and Late check- out is the subject of availability and has to be discussed with Case del Golfo before arrival.

9. Security deposit

Security deposit of 200 Euro is paid by you on arrival at your accommodation and payable to the key holder or owner. This is usually paid in cash (EUROS). The deposit will be returned to you at the moment of departure. A deduction will be made for breakages and consumption of energy for some properties (we will advise you on confirmation of booking if charges are applicable for air conditioning). The owner will inspect the property prior to departure. If in the unlikely event you cause damage which is over and above the amount paid for the security deposit, it will be your responsibility to cover the total cost of repairs.

10. Care of property

Please treat the property with utmost respect; you are expected to leave it in the same condition of cleanliness and repair as upon arrival. The owner will inspect the property prior to departure. If you cause disturbance or annoyance to other guests you may be asked to leave by the accommodation owner; we shall have no responsibility to find alternative accommodation and no refund will be made.

11. Number of occupants

The total number of guests staying at the property may not exceed the number of requested sleeping places. The owner reserves the right to refuse entry or evict the entire party if the number of persons occupying a property exceeds the number stipulated in the contract. PET POLICY: if you travel with your pet, this should be agreed with Case del Golfo before arrival. Usually we accept small & quiet pets for € 10 per night per animal. In case of any damage caused by the pet, the refurbishment or cleaning fees would be charged extra.  Any big dogs have to stay outside of the house.

12. Passports & VISA

Due to Italian law, all the travellers have to be registered upon arrival. In this case the passports or the equal ID has to be given to Case del Golfo for this procedure from all the guests. If you are Non-EU- resident and need a VISA to travel to Italy, Case del Golfo has to provide the official Confirmation Letter for the Embassy or Consulate in order to get a Visa.

13. Insurance

We strongly advise our client to take out their own personal insurance in relation to travel, accident, medical and personal cover.

14. Data protection

All information provided to Case del Golfo will remain confidential and used only for client purposes. We must pass the information on to the owner of the accommodation you have chosen.

15. Contract

This contract is made on the terms of this Booking policy, which are governed by Italian law.
